Welcome to OMC Library

The Outspan Medical College Library is a modern hub of knowledge, learning, and innovation. It has been designed to support healthcare training and research through a blend of traditional resources and cutting-edge technology. Our space provides students and professionals with a calm environment to read, research, and collaborate, all while embracing digital solutions for the future of education.

Beyond books and journals, the library serves as a gateway to a wide range of electronic databases, online medical resources, and e-learning platforms, ensuring that learners are equipped with the most current and reliable information available. Our dedicated staff are always ready to guide users in developing information literacy skills, critical thinking, and research competence.

The library spans two floors. The second floor hosts a welcoming newspaper lounge, a spacious reading area, and a digital hub equipped with modern computers and e-resources. The third floor is dedicated to quiet and focused study, featuring individual study carrels, a multimedia room for interactive learning, and a conference room designed for group discussions and academic collaboration.

At the heart of the OMC Library is our vision to be a centre of excellence in library and information services. We aim to provide a space that nurtures curiosity, supports innovation, and empowers every learner to thrive in their academic and professional journey.

Announcements
  • The library remains closed on Sundays and publc holidays.
  • Newspapers available at the lounge.
  • Second floor library will hold resources related to health sciences while third floor library will hold the other disciplines.
  • You can only use your college email to book for trainings/conference room/carrels
