OPAC Use Guide

You are now in the Library Catalogue Homepage. There is a search bar with fields you can choose (e.g. Title, Author, Subject etc.).

Please Note:
  • Start with one field at a time (e.g. Title, Author, Subject).
  • You do not have to type in the whole title. One or two words are enough.
  • When using the author field, do not abbreviate. Use the full name.
  1. Type your search query in the search box and press the Enter key.
  2. Retrieved records/books will appear.
  3. Use the scroll bar to move through the list of records.

For each record you want to use, note the following:

  • The Call Number of the book (e.g. R735 .M39 2017).
  • The Section where the book is located (e.g. Reference Section, General Stacks).

Write the call number down and go to the shelves section to retrieve the book.
